Fashion Forum SM

I recently got invited to visit Fashion Forum in SM Makati along with other bloggers. I kinda tried to move heaven and earth to join the event. What I did cannot be mentioned anymore in public... teehee... Well, how could I resist Fashion Forum?!!! Home of one of my fave shoe brands, Jeffrey Campbell! 

Fashion Forum occupies a not-so-little space in many SM (Makati, North Edsa, Megamall, Davao and Cebu). It carries many brands from Maggy London, Muse, Donna Morgan, Chinese Laundry, to name a few. What's great about Fashion Forum is how updated the styles are! Every season the ladies of Fashion Forum go abroad to source the latest dresses and shoes for us to feast on! Saves us from purchasing online, especially since price points are almost the same.

They aim to bring ladies from day to night, hence the easy to wear but totally chic designs. I've seen a couple of dresses that would definitely be appropriate in the office and also great for night outs with friends!

They are opening another branch in May at SM Aura (the new monstrosity near Market, Market in Fort). Fortunately (or unfortunately for my wallet!), our office is moving to the Fort area soon. I'll just be a few minutes away from Fashion Forum!

Oh, and I enjoyed the blogger event most of all because I met new friends! Fellow bloggers who are kikay but super friendly! They are all so kalog and down to earth. I hope to see them again in another event!

Wish list 2012

Previously blogged before that I wanted Keds for my birthday. It's such a classic that you just have to get one. The variety of styles have definitely grown more since my college days. While the new styles are lovely, I'd still go for the classic Champion CVO Canvas Basics. I can't decide whether to go safe with white or go with blue or red...

Dear Hubby, I'm size 6. And I'm okay with whatever color. I hope you don't give me a call anymore when you buy me a gift. Just surprise me for once... please?! If you don't know where to look for it, check Shoe Salon, sport shops or even department stores.

Found Luck at TLTSN

Just posted yesterday that The Little Things She Needs opened its online store. I was out doing errands today and found myself in Galleria. TLTSN is on sale right now and saw some nice pairs at 70% discount! But they didn't have any in my size...

My last stop before going home was Eastwood and decided to check their branch there. I found a pair of wedges in my size! And it was the last piece!

Oh my, right?! It's hard to find size 6 to 7. I think I was just lucky to get these. 

I really should stop buying shoes and start buying clothes... 

Urban Bazaar Finds

I went to the Rockwell Bazaar last Friday and scored some items from online shops I often check out. While I've developed an addiction with online shopping, it's nice to get to feel and fit the items before buying them too.

First few items from Therapy Bags...

From Therapy Bags: Crossover Body Bag and dual-use accessories

I have lots of big bags and sometimes I just want to bring a few items. This is a nice size, looks small but I can actually put more than I expected. It was also on sale for P500.

The accessories can be used as a bracelet or necklace. The owner was so friendly and demonstrated the different ways to use the accessories. It's P250 each but if you buy at least two, you get P50 off.

And I just had to grab a pair of shoes from Sole Divas Purse Shoes. I was suppose to order a pair online but when I found out they will be at the bazaar, I decided to check out the items there instead.

They have adorable ballet flats in many colors. This pair I bought also comes in other color combinations. They also sell mommy-daughter pairs too. Made me wish I had a daughter!

The shoes are made here in my hometown, Marikina. The more reason to buy! Love your own!

Just some random hair accessories from 1721. I just realized my hair isn't long enough to do some of the styles in the instruction manual but I'm willing to wait. Was so inggit with the owner, she was showing how to use everything. Ganda and super long her hair!

I saw a cheap and cheerful pair of sandals for only P450. I left the booth to go around for awhile and when I came back they sold the only pair in my size... felt so bad! Well, till the next bazaar.

Imelda Organizes

While still at home I decided to organize my shoes. Most of my shoes are under our bed or the space under our sink in the bathroom. It's driving me crazy to crouch down and reach under our bed every time I'm looking for a pair! And the truth is, I'm running out of space...

I've kept most of my shoes in their boxes. But when we travel and buy shoes abroad, most of the time we leave the boxes behind to save on baggage space. 

So, for the pairs without boxes I bought clear boxes from Little Emily Shop.  

These boxes are P50/each, but you can also get it at wholesale price of P280 for 8pcs or P35. Not bad right?! Very easy to assemble. I saw these at Robinson's and they sell it at P90!

I don't have a shoe closet like Carrie Bradshaw... although I wish I had one! I had our maids put everything in the third floor of our house for the meantime. The area was suppose to be a den but right now it looks like a storage area for everything...

I sort of organized everything by brand and/or by use. Put together all those with boxes on one side.

As you can see, I have lots from Schu. A few from Anthology Shoes, Salt Water Sandals, So! F.A.B., Tory Burch and Jeffrey Campbell.

Then all those in clear boxes I stacked together too. Categorized to: dressy shoes, casual (flats and sandals), sneakers, office shoes and black pumps.

I like shoe boxes with pictures of the style/design outside for easy identification.

I can't believe they all fit under our bed!!! Next are the shoes under my sink... not as many shoes but it's the several dozens of Havaianas I have to sort out!

Couldn't help but visit the Anthology sale in The Ramp in Glorietta. Can't ignore 30% to 70% dicount! My cousin-in-law and I were eyeing a couple of pairs but some of the styles we wanted didn't have our sizes.

This came in while I was delivering my second baby last Wednesday...

Unfortunately my feet are still swollen. My hubby calls it "Cabbage Patch feet"... like the feet of those Cabbage Patch babies. So, may take awhile before I can wear it.

Anthology Hudson in Tan

I ended up in tan. Can't wait to wear it!

Note: Hudson's size seem to run smaller than the usual Anthology shoes. I'm usually a size 6 but it was small for me. Had to exchange it for bigger size. I will be ending up with Midnight Blue... But can I just say, Anthology has been very accommodating! So nice to help me exchange to bigger size. 

Which One?!

I guess maybe it's the waiting for the baby to come (I'm about to pop anytime. Like any minute now!) that's making me so antsy. While my doctor finally allowed me to walk around to prepare for baby, I have nowhere to go and no one to drive me anywhere. I prefer to walk around the mall than here in our village... so hot!

So, anyway, I told myself I wouldn't be getting a pair of Hudson wedges from Anthology until I give birth. But I can't help but want to order it already! But I can't decide which color to get!

This was my first choice but I have to go to Anthem or to other stores carrying Anthology to get it.

Khaki is safe color. Easiest to get too. AVA is carrying this on their site in my size.

I don't have any gray shoes. Would like to get this one. Hope they have it in my size though.

Gosh, if I had the money I'd get one in every color...

So, what color would you choose?!

Summer Kicks

I've been buying shoes lately. But I can't wear most of it - okay, all of it - since my hands and feet have started to swell already. I'm at 37 weeks now and waiting to pop anytime!

Bought this sneakers from J&M by Soleil using a coupon I saw at Deal Dozen. Regular price is P1,450, but with the coupon it's down to P995.

I'm waiting for the baby to come out so I can wear my old clothes and shoes! Missing wearing shorts again. This pair is great for many summer outfits! I'm imagining maxi dresses and shorts with loose tops...

Feeling Blue in Schu

I passed by Rockwell last Friday and spied this blue platforms in the Chocolate Schu Bar. I had to be in and out of the mall in 5mins so I couldn't go inside and check it out. But from afar, I fell in love with it already!

The goddesses from @schu_shop heard my raves over twitter and reserved a pair for me! I was already plotting a way to go to Rockwell again. Yesterday I had to go to my doctor... this was my chance to pick up.

Waah! So huge already! This is why I avoid outfit shots. Notice the sticker on my arm?! Lol!

The color stands out and the height of the platform is quite comfy. I'm really partial to blue (guess where I went to college???). Before cobalt blue was even fashionable, I already used it as my motif when I got married.

The other shoes in the Spring/Summer Collection are also lovely. Worth visiting Chocolate Schu Bar! Lots of sandals and wedges to accent your maxis and shorts this summer!

I've been trying to get into one of my regular shopping sites but somehow I couldn't get thru. In my frustration, I ended up shopping in a different site...

Saw some nice pairs from local brand SO! F.A.B. Company is under the Celine Group, which includes Celine and CMG.

I got these shoes from their online shop. I love how brick and mortar stores go online. Makes it really easier for people like me, who are stuck at home, to shop.
